With construction workers applying the finishing touches to landscaping, faculty and staff moved boxes into their offices in the recently completed Academic Office Building.
“We are thrilled with the new space and excited to show it to our students, alumni and community partners,” Terry Schwartz, interim dean, School of Public Affairs said. “We’re also looking forward to the SPA fall alumni event on the new patio!”
The $16 million 44,000 square foot building – roughly the size of Main Hall – houses several departments of the College of Letters, Arts and Sciences as well as the School of Public Affairs on five floors.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony is schedule for 1 p.m. Aug. 18.
