As the Cabinet continues to look for ways to make the university more streamlined, a few departments and programs will see a change in their reporting structures in the coming months. These changes will create more efficiencies and allow for a better workflow for the impacted teams.
- Online Operations, headed by Executive Director Nathan Bullock, will report to to the Provost’s Office, with a dotted line to Enrollment Management to better align with their academic focus.
- Institutional Research, headed by Director Jennifer Russell, will now report to the Vice Chancellor of Administration and Finance due to the critical ties between data and reporting in our budget, forecasting, and project management work. IR will still maintain close ties with Academic Affairs for academic data needs.
- Cybersecurity Programs, headed by Director Gretchen Bliss, will now report to University Advancement and Development with a dotted line to the Chancellor due to their relationships with other community cybersecurity agencies and partners.
“I’m glad that these teams will be better aligned to support the mission of the university,” said Interim Chancellor Jennifer Sobanet. “Our hope is for each individual to feel set up for success with an organizational structure that makes sense for both their unit and UCCS as a whole.”
