  • Restorative dialogue circles are held monthly in the center to engage students in story sharing and visioning around a theme. Past themes have included navigating change, when going home is difficult, and living Dr. King’s vision.

  • In this colloquium, professor Yulia Maximenko of Colorado State University will showcase the exciting recent developments in the field of tunable 2D platforms highlighting twisted moiré systems and atomic manipulation, specifically, reporting on the discovery of the emergent anomalously large orbital magnetic susceptibility in twisted double bilayer graphene, along with the orbital magnetic moment. She will also discuss the exciting potential in the field of quantum materials, combining STM, epitaxial growth, and stacked 2D devices.

  • Pale Blue – named after the planet we inhabit – is no ordinary audio postcard home. It documents VAPA chair and professor Glen Whitehead’s grand quest to fuse music ex­ploration, improvisation, and environmental immersion. He digs up sonic materials from a vast swath of locations, through the musical syntax of the earth, participation in its natural theater, and the intertwining of geophonic, anthrophonic, and biophonic (earth-, human-, and life-) ensembles.
