2023 Undergraduate Research Academy winners

Please join us in welcoming our Undergraduate Research Academy cohort for the 2023 summer. These 24 student-faculty pairs will receive funding for their work on original research and creative works.

The Undergraduate Research Academy encourages students to expand their education beyond the classroom through participation in research and creative projects mentored by UCCS faculty. Academy students act as research assistants on meaningful projects identified by their faculty mentor. Through this opportunity, the students gain valuable experience (while being paid), and the faculty member’s research program goals are furthered.

The Undergraduate Research Academy is run by Jennifer Poe, Director of the Center for Student Research. The Center for Student Research was established in 2019 and has many resources for both faculty and student researchers alike.
