To: The Student Resource Office
From: Sarah Long
Noelle, Taylor, Andre, Caroline, and Juan are the unsung heroes of the College of Education. These 5 graduate assistants do everything from managing admissions, tackling Salesforce, creating community, recruiting students, and ensuring all the events and logistics are well organized. These people work so hard in their positions, their courses, and all the other things they have in their lives. I am endlessly grateful to be part of an incredible team and excited to see where their academic journey’s take them.

Sending one last kudo to one of the people who helped get Clyde’s Kudos started for UCCS. Thanks Anna for all you do and for being the best co-worker and friend. Your work speaks for itself, we will miss you!
To: Anna Squires
From: Anon.
Anna does so much beyond what others may know or see. Anna is a team player through and through she embodies our UCCS ethical values of respect, trust, integrity, and accountability. Anna deserves so many kudos and I am lucky to get to work with her.
To: Ashley Lawless
From: Anon.
Ashley gives her all to her position, UCCS, and her students. She is always willing to drop everything and help and student or staff member in any way she can.
To: Brie Escobedo
From: Major Exploration Partners team in Academic Advising
Brie has been an amazing partner since her arrival at UCCS. She is always willing to brainstorm, share resources, problem solve and bring her creative energies to the challenges we can face in support of students. Her efforts have been at the core of the Career Center’s mission to develop a culture of career at UCCS and establish a growing network of Career Influencers. During considerable transition with the Career Center team, as the senior member of the staff, Brie has provided leadership, consistency, and regularly gone above and beyond the scope of her job description. Brie has the mindset that “we are better together”. Her seemingly endless enthusiasm and deep expertise in her field are two of her many assets. We look forward to our continued partnership!
To: Charlie Kuehler
From: Crista Hill
Charlie’s ability to plainly explain very complex (to me) financial and HR tasks to me has been vital to my success in my new role. He has patiently guided me and answered every question – sometimes two or three times. I thank you, Charlie, for your professionalism and patience!
To: Cindy Brown
From: Sarah Long
Half the time I don’t know where Cindy is because she is all over campus setting up tech, computers, and all the things for COE. She is constantly on the go and works incredibly hard to make sure everyone within the college has everything they need to be successful. Cindy is the COE glue that holds us together. Thank you Cindy!
To: Danielle Wright
From: Jen Furda
This is a late Kudo from Spring 2022 Commencement…and a current Kudo just because she is awesome! After coming to UCCS and helping Kristina Coggins with maternity leave and taking on those duties…to then taking over commencement full time after Kristina got back…to just helping with other cool campus projects like the Military Basketball Association Veterans Day Tournament happening in November…Danielle is a JOY to work with and she gets the project done with a smile, on time and efficiently! Thank you Danielle!
