UCCS to host Adams State in RMAC men’s basketball quarterfinals

 UCCS-Mountain-Lion-LogoThe UCCS men's basketball team will host its first home playoff game in program history as the No. 3 seed in the 2014 RMAC Shootout when it hosts sixth-seeded Adams State on March 4. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m., at the Gallogly Events Center.
 
The first 500 UCCS students who present their ID at the entrance will receive free admission, courtesy of UCCS Student Life and Leadership, and free playoff t-shirts, courtesy of the Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group. Pregame activities for students will take place at Clyde's, located in the lower level of the University Center.
 
Tickets for adults are $10, and all other students, including UCCS students who don't arrive among the first 500, will be $4. RMAC regulations do not permit any complimentary admission for any postseason events. Parking will be free in Lots 3 and 4, and in the shuttle lots on North Nevada Avenue at the Four Diamonds Sports Complex.
 
UCCS swept the season series with Adams State this season with a 97-93 win in Alamosa on Dec. 7 and a 94-91 win in Colorado Springs on Feb. 14. The game will be the first postseason appearance for the Mountain Lions since the 2009-10 season and the sixth in program history.
 
The game will be available for fans who are unable to attend with live stats through the Sports Information Office and a live video streaming through America One Sports. Season passes for America One do not carry over to the postseason tournament.
