Memorial services for Richard Nasby, instructor, College of Business were Feb. 10 a Church at Woodmoor, 18125 Furrow Road, Monument. He died Jan. 20 at his Monument home
Since 2004, Nasby taught courses at UCCS in international marketing, marketing and international management following a distinguished career in business in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
His obituary, as prepared by family members and published in the Colorado Springs Gazette, follows.
Richard William Nasby
Rick was born in Battle Creek, MI before moving to Loveland, CO. He graduated from DU with a bachelors degree in marketing and the American Graduate School of International Management with a masters degree of International Management and an MBA.
After a career in senior management in several European countries he moved to Monument and shared his great love of international business as a professor at UCCS and Regis University.
He is survived by his wife Sarah and daughter Elle.
A service will be held at the Church at Woodmoor, 18125 Furrow Road, Monument, CO at 3pm on Monday 10th February.
The family has asked for donations to the church in lieu of flowers.
