UCCS online programs shine in latest U.S. News & World Report rankings

In a recent report published by U.S. News & World Report, UCCS boasts six distinct online programs ranked among the best in the nation, with one program cracking the top-10 as being best for veterans in its class.

General UCCS programs

College of Business and Administration

The College of Business is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). Only 5% of business schools have earned this distinction. In the latest rankings, an undergraduate and graduate program received honors, with a nod to being a best program for veterans.

College of Education

The College of Education is one of only two Colorado institutions to be accredited by the Council for the Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP) and by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Programs accredited by (CACREP). Fully online graduate offerings received a best-in-class nod, as well as being a best option for veterans. The College of Education offers three graduate-level online programs.

College of Engineering and Applied Science

The College of Engineering and Applied Science offers ABET accredited programs and awards multiple Bachelor, Master, and Doctoral degrees in the broad areas of mechanical, computer, electrical engineering, and computer science, as well as online Master’s degrees for professionals already in the workforce. The three master’s programs offered by the college received a best in class nod.

Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences

The Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences offers a variety of nationally recognized and accredited bachelors, masters, and doctoral degrees including, but not limited to, nursing, exercise science, health care science, nutrition, athletic training, and strength and conditioning. The online Master of Science in Nursing degree received a nod as a best option in the nation, as well as a best for veterans designation ranking in the top-10 of all online nursing programs in the nation.
