Kratzer earns professional designation

Bev Kratzer, director, Career Center, recently earned Master Career Development Professional Development certification from the National Career Development Association, the professional association for career development.

NCDA works with licensing and credentialing bodies to support the preparation and recognition of career counselors and career development facilitators. NCDA also sets ethical standards for the career development profession including guidelines for the provision of career services on the Internet.

The UCCS Career Center, located in Main Hall and part of the Division of Student Success, strives to help current students and alumni explore career options and achieve career goals through a variety of services including helping undecided students select a major, assisting with resumes, interviewing skills and job search strategies.
