Culver wins 100th game

Jeff Culver, head men’s basketball coach, Athletic Department, won his 100th career game Dec. 13 when the Mountain Lions matched the longest winning streak in program history with a 94-53 victory against Regis University.

The 41-point win was the largest margin of victory in a conference game in program history.

UCCS is second in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference and one game behind the Colorado School of Mines with a 15-2 overall record, surpassing the 15-win mark for the fourth time in program history. (More)

University Club discontinued, replaced by University Partners group

After 32 years, the UCCS University Club was discontinued following the fall 2014 semester. A new group called University Partners will take the reigns, connecting UCCS with the Colorado Springs community regarding important topics that affect the Pikes Peak Region community and the university.

Campus to celebrate turning 50

Several long-serving members of the UCCS community will be honored Jan. 22 as part of 50th anniversary celebrations.

Festivities are scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Jan. 22 on El Pomar Plaza with a photograph of faculty and staff that mimics one taken in 1990 as part of 25th anniversary celebrations. (More)
