Basketball boosters bring Mountain Lion support to Golden

UCCS faculty, staff and students were joined by CU System administrators in supporting Mountain Lion men’s and women’s basketball teams Dec. 9 games against the Colorado School of Mines in Golden.

About 70 CU-affiliated faculty and staff members attended a pre-game event in Golden and helped cheer the women’s team to a 54-49 victory and support the men’s team in its 86-57 loss. The event was organized by the UCCS Basketball Boosters which provided transportation to the game, treats on the bus, game tickets and a pre-game reception for $10.
