Sandy Wurtele, professor, Department of Psychology, participated in USA Swimming’s first Safe Sport Leadership Conference Jan. 27-29 at the Marriott Hotel, Colorado Springs. Wurtele presented “Preventing Sexual Exploitation of Minors in Youth-Serving Organizations” and served on a panel of experts discussing sexual abuse in sports.
