Psychology Department lauded for training future geropsychologists

The Council of Professional Geropsychology Training Programs will present the UCCS Department of Psychology with its 2012 Award for Innovative Geropsychology Training at the group’s annual meeting Nov. 15 in San Diego, Calif.

CoPGTP lauded the Ph.D. program in clinical psychology (with emphasis in geropsychology) as providing “exemplary training for future geropsychologists.”

Daniel L. Segal, professor, Department of Psychology, will accept the award on behalf of the Department.
