The Kraemer Family Library will deliver library materials to faculty and staff campus offices starting Feb. 27.
The pilot office delivery service allows faculty and staff members to request library materials be delivered to their campus office. Delivery is available Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The service is available to all faculty and staff members who are registered with the library and have an office accessible to library staff.
According to Carla Myers, assistant professor, Kraemer Family Library, the program was started primarily for the convenience of faculty and staff.
“We know how busy everyone is,” said Myers. “We hope this program helps faculty and staff and allows them more time with their students.”
Items that can be delivered include all available items in the UCCS library catalog, as well as those borrowed through Prospector or InterLibrary Loan.
To arrange delivery, contact the Circulation Desk at 255-3296 after receiving email notification that items are ready.
Faculty and staff members must present their UCCS identification upon delivery. When ready for return, borrowed items must be brought back to the library. There is no retrieval service, and students who deliver items are unable to accept returns.
