El Paso County higher ed is luncheon focus

The state of higher education in El Paso County will be the subject of a Nov. 30 luncheon of community leaders.

The UCCS Center for the Study of Government and the Individual is sponsoring the luncheon scheduled for 11:30 a.m. Nov. 30 at the Antlers Hilton Hotel, 4 S. Cascade Ave. The luncheon will feature the new president of Pikes Peak Community College, Lance Bolton, and UCCS Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak. Both will give updates and respond to audience questions.

State and local elected officials, as well as community business leaders, are expected to attend and to ask questions about enrollment, finances and anticipated actions in the Colorado General Assembly.
