Faculty who supported UCCS students through participation in mentoring programs, learning communities, Freshman Seminar, and early alert efforts will be honored at a reception scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Sept. 23 in Main Hall 202.
The reception will recognize those who helped UCCS students continue from their freshman to sophomore years. The event is hosted by the Office of First Year Experience. This year, 71 percent of UCCS freshmen continued as sophomores, a record.
