More than 95,000 active student records will be converted this weekend to the new student information system called ISIS as UCCS continues to prepare for fall 2010 registration using new systems, according to Steve Ellis, interim associate vice chancellor, Student Success.
During the next few weeks, training for academic departments, advisors and administrators will begin and online demonstrations of both the faculty self-service and student self-service modules will be scheduled. A new student portal is planned to open March 15. On March 29, there will be a pilot registration for fall 2010.
Registration for summer classes begins April 5. Students will use the current student online center to enroll for summer courses. Fall registration begins April 26 and students will utilize the new system and the student self-service center.
