UCCS employees will receive an additional day of administrative leave with Governor John Hickenlooper’s authorization of an extra holiday for state employees. The campus will observe the additional day on Friday, Dec. 28.
“As we approach the Thanksgiving holiday, I would like to express my gratitude for your hard work and dedication to UCCS this academic year,” Chancellor Venkat Reddy wrote to the faculty and staff Nov. 14. “Thank you again for fueling the success of UCCS!”
All employees will receive eight hours of paid administrative leave (prorated for part-time) on Dec. 28, 2018. Essential personnel who cannot participate in this added leave day may use the eight hours (prorated for part-time) on an alternate day. If employees are designated as essential services personnel, please make sure to coordinate with, and receive the approval of, the supervisor in rescheduling the administrative leave day.
