While official enrollment figures are more than a week away, the number of on-campus residents remains strong and points to continued enrollment growth.
Many housing students moved to campus Aug. 18 and were greeted by university officials. But this was more than a handshake and “hello.” Boxes were carried, refrigerators toted and stairs climbed by UCCS administrators, student government leaders, ROTC members, and student club leaders. Also supporting move in were staff from parking, bookstore, health center, counseling, Ent Federal Credit Union and Campus Sustainability.
Campus housing is at capacity, according to Susan Szpyrka, associate vice chancellor, Administration and Finance, who provided a by-the-numbers breakdown of student housing residents.
