Education dean search continues

UCCS will continue to search for a new dean of the College of Education, according to Peg Bacon, provost.

Two finalists for the position visited the campus in January. Following the visits, Bacon asked the search committee to continue its work and bring additional candidates to campus.

The search committee members are: Venkat Reddy, chair; Catharine Beecher, senior instructor, College of Education, Karen Brown, assistant dean, College of Education, Randy DePry, special education department chair, College of Education, Rebecca Godfrey, executive assistant to the dean, College of Education, Leslie Grant, associate professor, College of Education, Corinne Harmon, assistant professor, College of Education, Melissa Schecter, enrollment and student services manager, College of Education, Barbara Frye, assistant professor, College of Education, Mary Thurman, a District 11 administrator, John Weathers, assistant professor, College of Education, and Joe Wehrman, assistant professor, College of Education.
