The arduous task of establishing a library on a fledgling campus is the subject of “History of the Library at UCCS: Part One 1956-1995,” a display of UCCS Archives on the third floor of the Kraemer Family Library.
The display traces the challenges of inadequate and frequently relocated library facilities, limited hours, staff and building a collection. Part one will be on display February and March. A second exhibit is planned in April that will chronicle the development of the Kraemer Family Library from 1996 to present.
