An Oct. 26 and 27 campus blood drive resulted in 207 pints donated to Memorial Hospital’s blood bank, according to drive co-organizer Julie Brewster, controller, Resource Management.
The two-day total was the largest in campus history with more than a dozen donors visiting Memorial Hospital when confronted with long lines on campus.
What’s next for the pint-counting blood drive organizers of Brewster and Gayanne Scott, director, Resource Management?
“We are a little competitive so we are going to try to “out do” the best drive next year,” Brewster wrote in a campus e-mail. “Beware!
“Once again, thank you for the overwhelming response to a need in our community. Put a smile on your face and a song in your heart.”
