CU Regents to conduct regular meeting at UCCS

The nine-member CU Board of Regents will meet at UCCS Sept. 8-9 in Berger Hall.

The regularly scheduled meeting will begin at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 with an executive session. A public session is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m. in Berger Hall and expected to continue until approximately 4:30 p.m. The board will reconvene Sept. 9 at 8:30 and is expected to continue until approximately 10:30 a.m.

UCCS items the Board of Regents will consider include

  • A program plan for an indoor practice field and baseball diamond
  • Graduate certificates in National Security Intelligence, Homeland Security and Emergency Management Leadership; Local Government Management; Grant Writing, Management and Program Evaluation; and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.
  • Student enrollment at UCCS and other CU campuses for the fall semester

Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak will also update the Regents about the scheduled November campus visit of the Higher Learning Commission.
