With the end of the semester comes finals – and also study breaks, healthy food and the ever-popular Pause for Paws.
Below is a list of some activities planned:
PJs and Pancakes
Office of Student Activities will host PJs and Pancakes in the Kraemer Family Library at 7 p.m. May 4. Deans of the colleges will cook pancakes, and students are encouraged to come dressed in their jammies.
Finals Survival Coffee
Alumni & Friends Association will kick off finals week at the semiannual Finals Survival Coffee Event outside Berger Hall. Get free coffee and free UCCS tumblers starting at 8 a.m. May 9 until the mugs run out.
Library No-Study Zone
The library will host No-Study Zones events May 2-6. All activities will be near the main library entrance on the second floor.
- May 2: Coloring books, with Zentangle workshop at 11:30 a.m.
- May 3: Legos, with yoga at 1 p.m.
- May 4: Pause for Paws 11 a.m.-1 p.m., with yoga at 8 p.m.
- May 5: Pause for Paws 2:45-4:45 p.m., with yoga at 6 p.m.
- May 6: Puzzles, with yoga at 11:30 a.m.
Brain Foods
Dining and Hospitality Services will emphasize “brain foods” during finals, with labels about how, for example, spinach is good for your brain.
Campus Recreation
