On Wednesday, March 5, the Student Government Association (SGA) hosted their annual debate prior to the elections this coming week.
The event was livestreamed and included free food for attendees. Moderating the debate were Scribe co-editors Zee O' Donnel and Joe Impellitteri.
"It's very exciting to see many new students running for SGA positions this year," said Noelle San Souci, Director of Student Engagement. "The debates provide an opportunity for candidates to relay their perspectives on a variety of topics that are important to the student body."
Students can vote online, or they can stop by the University Center Lobby from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 13 for an opportunity to vote and get free pie.
Elections begin at 9 a.m. on Monday, March 10 and end at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 14.
