UCCS rolls out new marketing campaign

The UCCS Campus Marketing Department, along with the College of Public Service, College of Education, and the Helen and the Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, is rolling out a new brand marketing campaign.

In recent years, campus marketing resources have primarily focused on direct digital marketing aimed at prospective students and their families to influence enrollment. Consequently, the brand’s presence in the community has not been prominent. This new brand campaign aims to change that.

Three colleges (College of Public Service, College of Education, and the Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences) have collaborated and combined their resources to launch a local marketing campaign to promote their programs. In collaboration with the University Marketing Department, they developed a campaign featuring successful alumni to generate more awareness of the impact of their programs and potential enrollment.

Here are the first two examples of the campaign.

These advertisements are elements of a larger, coordinated effort which will include digital signage, bus kiosks and placements within organizations with a goal of demonstrating the impact that UCCS programs and people are having on the Colorado Springs community. Other components of the local brand campaign include marketing at the Colorado Springs Airport and the “power of possibility” TV ads running regularly on KRDO TV.

Please reach out to Eric Nissen, director of marketing for UCCS at [email protected] with any questions about this campaign.
