Hundreds of UCCS faculty and staff joined with members of the CU Board of Regents, UCCS leaders and project contractors Aug. 18 to officially open the Alpine Parking Garage and Athletic Fields.
The 1,234-space garage boasts energy efficient lighting, charging stations for electric vehicles, and solar panels. A rooftop soccer field drew widespread praise for its addition of recreational space to the traditionally hilly campus.
