The UCCS College of Education is hosting the Southern Colorado Education Job Fair from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, 2024 in the UCCS Cybersecurity Building. The event is open to students of all majors and people of all backgrounds.
Employers will be hiring for a wide variety of positions, including teachers, school counselors, school nurses, administrators, office staff, bus drivers and more. Some jobs offer part-time hours with full-time benefits. The event is open to the public, and members of the community are encouraged to attend.
“The UCCS College of Education is thrilled to partner with local school districts to provide an opportunity for the community to fill needed roles across the state of Colorado,” said Caroline Wooten, Community Engagement and Outreach Coordinator for the College of Education. “Our graduates, in particular, are excited to continue contributing to the field of education and making a difference in the lives of Colorado youth.”
Candidates are welcome to attend multiple professional development sessions throughout the duration of the fair. Registration is free for candidates (through Handshake) and can be done on the spot. Parking is free for everyone, and there will be a catered lunch.
