Eighteen funds, half with matching opportunities, featured for Giving Tuesday

UCCS’ Day of Giving on Nov. 28 will continue the university’s annual tradition of pairing compelling campus projects with the generosity of alumni, faculty, staff, students, parents, community members and friends.

In all, there are 18 funds aimed at breaking down the barriers to student success are the focus of this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign. Donations will go towards providing scholarships, alleviating food insecurity, creating diverse experiences for the student body and more.

This year, the Armed Forces Communications & Electronics Association (AFCEA) has generously agreed to donate $50,000 once the university reaches 500 individual donors. Help UCCS reach that goal and unlock the incredible match by donating to one of the 18 featured funds!

Want your donation to go ever further? The following nine funds are offering matches:

Since 2015, Giving Tuesday has brought in more than $795,000 for student scholarships and programs at UCCS. This considerable impact is only possible because of the collective generosity poured out by faculty, staff, students, alumni, parents and friends.

Designated as a global day to give back after the shopping holidays of Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday encourages gifts of any size to organizations that make an impact in communities.

If you are planning to donate on Giving Tuesday, gifts will be accepted by cash, check, credit card and payroll deduction.
