College of Business taps graduate program director, assistant dean

The College of Business recently selected a new director of graduate programs and promoted a staff member to the position of assistant dean.

Venkat Reddy, dean, College of Business, announced Jenni Janssen, previously executive and external education coordinator for the Southern Illinois University College of Business, is the new director of graduate programs. She previously was SIU’s MBA marketing director, assistant director of the SIU Centerfor Innovation and a small business specialist at SIU’s Small Business Development Center. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from SIU as well as a

master’s in international business from the Grenoble (France) School of Management.

In her position, Janssen will manage campus and online graduate programs.

She replaces Karen Sangermano, director, Online MBA. Sangermano will retire this summer after 16 years of service.

Windy Adoretti, previously director of the campus MBA program, was promoted to assistant dean of the College of Business. Adoretti joined UCCS in 2008. She earned an MBA from UCCS and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Colorado College.
