Freecycle Donation Program
Runs Monday, May 1 to Friday, May 12 from 8-4:30 p.m. | Copper House 9202

  • Freecycle is a donation program created specifically to help our international and exchange students. During the last two weeks of the semester, anyone can drop off items in the donation box outside the International Affairs office. Then, the first week of next semester, our international and exchange students will be able to come ‘shop for free’ and make use of the donated items. Learn more about what to donate here.

Military Affiliated Graduation Celebration
Friday, May 8 from 8 – 11 a.m. | Student Veteran Center

  • Come pick up your military cord from the VMA team! If you’re on campus on graduation day, bring the entire family with you. There will be coffee, snacks and a photographer that you can get three photos and one professional headshot with.

Research Interest Group (Clinical Research: Resilience Interventions, Prevention, and Evidenced-Based Assessment)
Friday, May 12 from 1 – 2 p.m. | Virtual event

  • This research interest group is dedicated to the development of research projects that assess the effectiveness of interventions aimed at building resilience and healing from trauma. This group is at the intersection of the Healing and Research divisions and will involve testing the effectiveness of our innovative healing models of care. Discussions will focus on prioritizing intervention interests from team members, identifying relevant funding opportunities, forming cross-site collaborations with other Institute affiliates with similar interests, and receiving consultation from prolific late-career researchers. Operational Closure: Graduation Weekend
Saturday, May 13 from 12 a.m. to Sunday, May 14 at 11:45 p.m. | Gallogly Recreation and Wellness Center

  • All Recreation and Wellness Center facilities will be closed the weekend following graduation – May 13 and 14. We will reopen with regular summer operational hours on Monday, May 15.

The Incline 10 Years Legal – Featuring the movie “The Mirage”
Thursday, May 11 at 6 p.m. | Shockley-Zalabak Theater

  • February 2023 marked a decade of legal use of the Manitou Incline. Incline Friends will celebrate those ten years of continued growth and development on and around the Incline, while also thanking Incline users, with a showing of the movie “The Mirage.” This movie chronicles the amazing journey of Timothy Olson in his quest to establish a new record for covering the 2,650 miles of the Pacific Crest trail in less than 52 days, the equivalent of running two marathons a day, every day, for nearly two months. Silver Jubilee
Saturday, May 13 at 1 or 6 p.m. | Shockley-Zalabak Theater

  • Come celebrate Colorado Ballet Society’s 25th Anniversary at our Silver Jubilee, enjoy classical excerpts from Raymonda, commemorating its 125th year, let loose with tributes to popular artists including The Beatles, ABBA, and Michael Jackson and more.
