WEST faculty member publishes new book

Stephany Rose Spaulding, assistant professor, Department of Women’s and Ethnic Studies, published “Abolishing White Masculinity from Mark Twain to Hiphop: Crises in Whiteness” in March. The book examines white American male literature for its social commentary on the construction of whiteness in the United States. The publisher is Rowman & Littlefield, Lanham, Md., ISBN 978-0-7391-8122-5 (hardback) and ISBN 978-0-7391-8123-2 (eBook).
