Austin Bluffs project to reduce lanes; delays expected

Westbound Austin Bluffs Parkway between Meadow Lane and Stanton Road will be reduced to one-lane from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 1 as medians are constructed and new pavement markings placed, according to project managers.

After the work is completed, westbound lanes will shift to new pavement on the roadway’s north side. Eastbound lanes of Austin Bluffs Parkway will remain unchanged. As a result of the changes, traffic may be stopped and delayed for up to 10 minutes.

Other updates include the continued closure of the left turn lane at Brenner Place until fall 2014, the closure of Silver Drive access to Austin Bluffs Parkway until 5 p.m. March 5 and the closure of Vanadium Drive at Austin Bluffs Parkway from 7 a.m. March 3 to 5 p.m. March 5.
