Traffic signals in the area of Austin Bluffs Parkway and Stanton Road will not work from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Feb. 21 as a result of the Austin Bluffs widening project.
During the outage, police will direct traffic through the intersection.
From 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 22, westbound Austin Bluffs between Meadow Lane and Stanton will be reduced to one lane for median work. When that work is completed, the westbound lanes between the UCCS west entrance and Stanton Road will shift to new pavement on the north side of the roadway.
Eastbound lanes of Austin Bluffs will remain in their current configuration.
Traffic may be delayed for up to 10 minutes.
Also, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 22, motorists will face temporary closure of the right westbound lane of Austin Bluffs between Brenner Place and Union Boulevard to accommodate setting sound barrier panels.
The left turn lane at the Brenner Place intersection for westbound Austin Bluffs will be closed until fall 2014 when the Austin Bluffs Parkway median reconstruction is completed.
Other changes include left turns restrictions to or from Austin Bluffs between Barnes and Oro Blanco Drive, and left turns to or from Austin Bluffs in-between Oro Blanco Drive and Old Farm Drive are prohibited.
Silver Drive will remain closed until Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 5 p.m. because of underground utility work activities. And from Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 6 a.m. through Friday, February 28 at 5 p.m., access to Turquoise Drive to and from Austin Bluffs will be prohibited.
