Jumpstart to finals

Dozens of UCCS students got help with finals this week from the Office of Student Retention and First Year Experience and academic leaders.

Assistance came in the form of plain or chocolate chip pancakes and cups of coffee doled out the evening of Dec. 10 at the Kraemer Family Library in El Pomar Center. Students also got free number two pencils, Scantron forms, blue books and others finals week necessities.

Teri Switzer, dean, Kraemer Family Library, Terry Schwartz, associate dean, School of Public Affairs, Mary Snyder, dean, College of Education, and R. “Dan” Dandapani, dean, College of Engineering and Applied Science, joined with Office of First Year Experience staff to dish out food and the occasional piece of advice.
