Students invited to first-ever virtual, statewide university career fair

UCCS joins 12 universities to co-host the first-ever statewide, virtual career fair specifically for Colorado university students: the inaugural Colorado Universities Partnered Virtual Career and Internship Fair. The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 12 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (MST).

The virtual job fair aims to provide Colorado students and recent alumni with career and internship opportunities across the state, nation and globe. Over 120 employers will be represented, offering positions in industries from finance and management to healthcare, nonprofit and outdoor industry fields.

During the event, UCCS students will be able to sign up for 10-minute one-on-one video chat sessions with employers looking for talented future team members.

Companies will also be hosting 30-minute group sessions. During group sessions, students can jump on a video info session call with their peers to learn more about company culture and the types of roles they are hiring.

Students, make sure to register for the fair and sign up for as many sessions as you like. Check out the list of attending employers on Handshake – and check the Handshake event regularly, as employers will continue to have sessions opening up daily, even throughout the day of the fair.
