El Paso County residents over 60 years of age are invited to respond to a confidential online survey. The survey aims to better understand how older people are managing physically, mentally and emotionally during the pandemic.

The goal of this research is to create a better estimation of resources needed for residents and caregivers, especially with the possibility of future stay-at-home orders in response to a potential second wave of COVID-19.

This survey will take about 10 to 15 minutes online. Participation in the survey is completely voluntary, and all responses will be kept confidential. The survey is approved by the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.

If you have questions, or if you prefer to take the survey over the phone, contact Judy Scott, assistant professor of nursing at UCCS, at (719)-255-4481. The survey will close Aug. 8, 2020.
