Starting July 2019, the Office of Information Technology will implement a continuous computer lab refresh cycle instead of once every three years for computers funded by the Student Technology Fee.

“The new process will allow a better distribution of computers, provide the newest technology to our students, and cause less disruption to our classrooms and labs,” said Steven Rodela, IT academic support manager. “As the current lab computers are replaced with new HP all-in-one computers, the used systems will be available to student facing areas, other departments and other areas around campus.”

Student facing areas will receive priority for the repurposed computers; however, all requests made through the Lab Refresh portal will be considered. For more information on the new Lab Refresh cycle, please visit http://www.uccs.edu/labrefresh/
