{"id":9182,"date":"2012-12-07T11:12:05","date_gmt":"2012-12-07T18:12:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=9182"},"modified":"2012-12-09T20:22:50","modified_gmt":"2012-12-10T03:22:50","slug":"hollywood-comes-to-campus","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=9182","title":{"rendered":"Hollywood comes to campus"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A feature length movie will be partially filmed at UCCS and will star a former local resident, according to a production company representative and university officials.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_9183\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-9183\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Daniel-Sobieray.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9183\" title=\"Daniel Sobieray\" src=\"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/12\/Daniel-Sobieray-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-9183\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Daniel Sobieray will star in a movie that will be partially filmed at UCCS.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Jan Perry Esten, production manager, T2S Productions, Florissant, recently completed an agreement that will allow filming of several scenes from \u201cA Tale of Two Sillies\u201d outside the Kraemer Family Library Dec. 8 and 9 and indoors Dec. 28-30. Most of the filming will occur at 410 S. Tejon St. where a coffee house set was built.<\/p>\n<p>Esten is working with the UCCS Department of Communication to incorporate students into several behind the scenes roles and will pay the university for any costs associated with the production. He also met with Teri Switzer, dean, Kraemer Family Library, the Department of Public Safety and University Center representatives to ensure the filming will not impede normal campus routines.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe deeply appreciate the tremendous support and cooperation the entire UCCS staff and administration has given our project,\u201d Esten said.<\/p>\n<p>The movie, a \u201cBreakfast Club\u201d-like comedy, will star Daniel Sobieray, a Cheyenne Mountain High School graduate who recommended his home town. The film is set in 1994 and focuses on a group of California college students.
