Chancellor Pam Shockley-Zalabak and Brian Burnett, vice chancellor, Administration and Finance, will lead the discussion of the CU and UCCS budgets for 2013-14 and CU\u2019s legislative proposals for the Colorado General Assembly. The Colorado General Assembly begins Jan. 9, 2013 and will decide issues ranging from pay increases for classified staff members to the amount of state funding received by universities.<\/p>\n
Andrea Hutchins, president, Faculty Assembly, and associate professor, Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, announced that 84 percent of the faculty who cast online ballots on the curriculum model supported it. About 47 percent of the faculty who were eligible to vote participated.<\/p>\n Jeff Ferguson, professor, College of Business, and Christina Jimenez, associate professor, Department of History, co-chaired a faculty general education task force.
