He previously was the Johnston Visiting Professor of Philosophy at Whitman College, Walla Walla, Wash. He earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from Loyola Marymount University, a master\u2019s from the University of Chicago, and master\u2019s and Ph.D. from the University of Hawaii, Manoa.<\/p>\n Cheryl Kelly,<\/strong> assistant professor, Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences. She previously was an assistant professor at the Saint Louis\u00a0University\u00a0School of Public Health. She earned master\u2019s degrees from St. Louis University and the University of Iowa and a Ph.D. from Saint Louis University.<\/p>\n Anna Kosloski,<\/strong> assistant professor, School of Public Affairs. She previously taught courses in sociology at Iowa State University and Iowa Central Community College. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris, and master\u2019s and Ph.D. from Iowa State University.<\/p>\n Karen Livesey<\/strong>, assistant professor, Department of Physics and Energy Science, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. She previously worked as postdoctoral fellow for the Australian Resources Research Center, Western Australia, and was a research associate for UCCS Department of Physics and Energy Science. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Western Australia.<\/p>\n Leann Wyrick-Morgan,<\/strong> assistant professor, College of Education. She previously was an assistant professor at the University of Texas, Tyler, and an adjunct faculty member at Adams State College and the University of Northern Colorado. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from Purdue University, a master\u2019s from DePaul University and Ph.D. from the University of Northern Colorado.<\/p>\n Emily Nusbaum,<\/strong> assistant professor, College of Education. She previously was an assistant professor in the special education program at California State University, Fresno, and an instructor at San Francisco State University and California State University, Hayward. She earned a bachelor\u2019s degree from College of the Holy Cross, a master\u2019s from Boston College, and Ph.D. from the University of California, Berkeley, and San Francisco State University.<\/p>\n Jia Rao,<\/strong> assistant professor, College of Engineering and Applied Science. He previously was a research assistant and postdoctoral researcher at Wayne State University. He earned a master\u2019s degree from Wuhan University, Wuhan, China, and Ph.D. from Wayne State University.<\/p>\n Jane Rigler,<\/strong> assistant professor, Department of Visual and Performing Arts, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, previously was a senior instructor in the department in addition to positions with the Manhattan New Music Project and the Lincoln Center Institute in New York.
