Adam Gertler<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Two celebrity chefs will be featured as part of a Sept. 8 fundraising event for the CU Aging Center.<\/p>\n

Adam Gertler, host of Food Network\u2019s primetime series, \u201cKid in a Candy Store,\u201d Gertler uncovers the most outrageous, innovative sweet treats as he travels the nation visiting the bakeries, restaurants, food carts, and factories where America\u2019s favorites are produced.<\/p>\n

Gertler will be joined by Shane Edward Lyons, a Colorado Springs-born, actor and chef known as a regular performer on the hit Nickelodeon show \u201cAll That.\u201d Lyons was also a contestant on the Food Network’s \u201cThe Next Food Network Star\u201d and is the former executive chef at the Nosh.<\/p>\n

Gertler and Lyons became friends as contestants on \u201cThe Next Food Network Star\u201d and will bring that chemistry to the 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. event at the Lodge. Tickets are $125 each and are available by calling 667-0187.<\/p>\n
