A limited number of tickets for this <a href=\"https:\/\/uccspresents.org\/experience-art\/artist-series\">UCCS Artist Series<\/a> event still remain for her 7 p.m. performance through the <a href=\"https:\/\/tickets.uccspresents.org\/397\/398\">UCCS Presents Box Office<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>King&#8217;s latest tour represents her visionary best: redefining the role of solo instrumental artist through virtuoso technique and an inventive, mesmerizing multi-media production which creates a narrative using her guitar as a projection screen.<\/p>\n<p>King was the only female and youngest member of Rolling Stone&#8217;s &#8220;The New Guitar Gods&#8221; in February 2006. She has produced eight albums and worked with Eddie Vedder and Michael Brook for the soundtrack to Sean Penn&#8217;s &#8220;Into the Wild.&#8221; The trio received a nomination for Best Original Score at the 2007 Golden Globes.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The Neck is a Bridge to the Body&#8221; debuted at the BRIC Theater in Brooklyn in 2014.
