{"id":5740,"date":"2012-01-27T09:59:25","date_gmt":"2012-01-27T16:59:25","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=5740"},"modified":"2012-02-17T11:03:10","modified_gmt":"2012-02-17T18:03:10","slug":"palisades-senior-housing-recognized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=5740","title":{"rendered":"Palisades senior housing recognized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Palisades of Broadmoor Bluffs, a senior living community that is associated with UCCS, was recently selected as a finalist in the 2012 Best of 50+ Housing Awards Competition in the category of best fitness and wellness program.<\/p>\n<p>Award recipients were selected by a jury of sixteen industry experts who specialize in the 50-plus housing industry.<\/p>\n<p>Notice of Palisades receiving either a gold or silver award will be announced Feb. 9 at the Builder\u2019s Show in Orlando, Fla.<\/p>\n<p>Faculty and students from the Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences have worked for more than three years to develop an integrated model of fitness and wellness promotion at Palisades.
