From the moment their bows hit the strings, this quintet of talented, diverse musicians takes the audience on an exciting ride that engages the senses and redefines the rules.<\/p>\n<p>SYBARITE5 has appeared at the Library of Congress, the CBS Early Show, for his Holiness the Dalai Lama, and numerous times at the Aspen Music Festival. In New York City they have performed at Lincoln Center, Time Warner Center, Galapagos Artspace, Tishman Auditorium, Bohemian National Hall, the Core Club, the Cutting Room and maintain a residency at the cell, &#8220;A 21st Century Salon.&#8221; SYBARITE5 was the first string quintet admitted to the Aspen Advanced Quartet Studies program, where they worked with Earl Carlyss of the Juilliard Quartet, bassist Edgar Meyer, as well as the Cavani, American and Ying String Quartets.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"740\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4KeXKuVX-C0?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ongoing programs include the Radiohead Remixed Project, the Shuffle Effect, New Music IDOL, an Alternative Venues Initiative and the DIDO Project. The quintet\u2019s debut album, &#8220;Disturb the Silence,&#8221; quickly reached the top ten on the Billboard charts. The group\u2019s follow-up album, &#8220;Everything in its Right Place,&#8221; was released at Carnegie Hall to critical acclaim. SYBARITE5 recently completed its latest album, &#8220;Outliers,&#8221; featuring all new works from American composers.<\/p>\n<p>The group expands on the program\u2019s inspirations:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cSYBARITE5 is always on the lookout for new tunes and composers that speak with a unique and relevant voice. &#8220;Outliers&#8221; is a celebration of works written for us by our favorite composers, and friends we\u2019ve met traveling the world performing the music we love.
