An announcement was delayed because of difficulty in locating his next of kin.<\/p>\n<p>A longtime Colorado Springs resident, Robertson joined UCCS in 2013 and was assigned to Columbine Hall, Cragmor Hall and the Campus Services Building. He was a friendly and dedicated worker, according to colleagues and supervisors. He began a medical leave in Dec. 2016 and returned to work Aug. 14.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining UCCS, he was a supply sergeant in the U.S. Army and had worked as a janitor and building technician for the U.S. Air Force Academy and School District 11.<\/p>\n<p>No memorial services are planned.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Eric Robertson, 56, custodian, Physical Plant, died Sept. 6.
