It is an honor to be a member of this faculty, of this campus community, and of the broader Pikes Peak region.<\/p>\n<p>I look forward to continuing the momentum of UCCS and&nbsp;Chancellor Emerita&nbsp;Pam Shockley-Zalabak. I am committed to a culture of respect, safety and compassion and to upholding the university&#8217;s values of student focus, integration of research, teaching and creative work, innovation, collaboration, inclusive diversity and dynamic responsible growth.<\/p>\n<p>While my title is interim chancellor, my responsibilities \u2013 and those of every other member of the campus community \u2013 are not.<\/p>\n<p>We must continue to build on our values and our dedication to the public good in our quest to become the region&#8217;s preeminent university.
