Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences, was recently selected as an ambassador by the Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research.<\/p>\n<p>Kenny was one of 15 people selected nationally this year for the role that focuses on educating Congressional leaders about high-impact and cost-effective medical treatments and quality-of-life enhancements that emanate from nursing science.<\/p>\n<p>Ambassadors were selected from a national pool of applicants based on their abilities to advance public, health professions, and policy-maker awareness of the critical research agenda linked to the National Institute for Nursing Research.<\/p>\n<p>The Friends of the National Institute of Nursing Research is an independent nonprofit group that advocates for nursing science and promotes wellbeing for all Americans.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<div class=\"mh-excerpt\"><p>Deborah Kenny, associate professor, Helen and Arthur E.
