{"id":2403,"date":"2010-11-12T14:35:55","date_gmt":"2010-11-12T21:35:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=2403"},"modified":"2010-11-12T14:35:55","modified_gmt":"2010-11-12T21:35:55","slug":"blood-drive-nets-207-pints","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/communique.uccs.edu\/?p=2403","title":{"rendered":"Blood drive nets 207 pints"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An Oct. 26 and 27 campus blood drive resulted in 207 pints donated to Memorial Hospital\u2019s blood bank, according to drive co-organizer Julie Brewster, controller, Resource Management.<\/p>\n<p>The two-day total was the largest in campus history with more than a dozen donors visiting Memorial Hospital when confronted with long lines on campus.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s next for the pint-counting blood drive organizers of Brewster and Gayanne Scott, director, Resource Management?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are a little competitive so we are going to try to \u201cout do\u201d the best drive next year,\u201d Brewster wrote in a campus e-mail. \u201cBeware!<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOnce again, thank you for the overwhelming response to a need in our community.
