He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Texas at Dallas and bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Sam Houston State University, Huntsville, Texas.<\/p>\n David Diamond<\/strong>, assistant professor, English Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Diamond was previously a fellow at the Chicago Center for Teaching at the University of Chicago and a lecturer in the Department of English at the University of Chicago. He earned a master’s degree and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine.<\/p>\n Robert Jacobs<\/strong>, assistant professor, Biology Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Jacobs was previously an assistant professor and adjunct professor at Western Carolina University, Cullowhee, North Carolina, and a post-doctoral fellow at the University of Zurich, Zurich, Switzerland. He earned a Ph.D. from the University of Zurich and bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Colorado State University, Fort Collins.<\/p>\n Esther Lamidi<\/strong>, assistant professor, Sociology Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Lamidi was previously an instructor and guest lecturer at Bowling Green State University, Bowling Green, Ohio, and a teaching assistant and guest lecturer at Western Illinois University, Macomb, Illinois. She earned a Ph.D. from Bowling Green State, a master’s from Western Illinois University and a bachelor’s degree from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria.<\/p>\n Judith Martin<\/strong>, assistant professor, Helen and Arthur E. Johnson Beth-El College of Nursing and Health Sciences. Martin was previously an assistant and associate professor at Point Loma University, San Diego, California, and held a teaching position at Azusa Pacific University, San Diego campus. She earned a Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from the University of San Diego, San Diego, California, a master’s degree from Phoenix University, Phoenix, Arizona, and a bachelor’s degree from the University of New Hampshire, Durham.<\/p>\n Ji Hyun Oh<\/strong>, assistant professor, College of Education. Oh was previously a researcher and research assistant at the University of Florida, Gainesville. She earned a Ph.D. from the University of Florida, Gainesville, a master’s degree from the University of Central Oklahoma, Edmond, Oklahoma, and a bachelor’s degree from Korea National Open University, Seoul, South Korea.<\/p>\n Max Shulman<\/strong>, assistant professor, Visual and Performing Arts Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Shulman previously was a researcher and assistant to the curator at the Center for Jewish History, New York, as well as a workshop coordinator and literary associate. He earned master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Bowdoin College, Brunswick, Maine.<\/p>\n Stephen Cho Suh<\/strong>, assistant professor, Sociology Department and Women’s and Ethnic Studies program, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Suh was previously an instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He earned master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, San Diego.<\/p>\n Lei (Frank) Zhang<\/strong>, assistant professor, Sociology Department, College of Letters, Arts and Sciences. Zhang was previously a graduate instructor and teaching assistant at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and at Xi’an Jiaotong University, China.
